    Referral FAQs

    Who can refer a patient to Grace London?

    Any registered healthcare professional can refer, including GPs, hospital consultants, dentists, physiologists, physiotherapists and nurse specialists. Patients wishing to arrange their own appointment should contact the relevant clinic directly rather than using this form.

    What do I need to send with a referral?

    Either a referral document, a written note, or both. If your referral letter covers everything, simply attach it. If you have no letter to hand, write a short note describing the presenting problem, relevant history, medications and what you would like from us.

    Which file types can I upload?

    PDF, Word documents, RTF, plain text and images including JPG, PNG, HEIC and TIFF. Each file can be up to 10 MB, with a total of 25 MB per referral. You can attach clinic letters, blood results, sleep study reports and imaging.

    How quickly will my referral be acknowledged?

    Referrals are acknowledged within one working day. Our team then contacts the patient directly to arrange their appointment, and the referring clinician is copied into the outcome letter.

    Do I need patient consent before referring?

    Yes. The referring clinician confirms on the form that the patient has agreed to the referral and to Grace London holding their information and contacting them about their care.
